Hi, I'm Skyler
so glad you're here
Creating photos and making art is obviously a big part of my life, but cultivating personal relationships with the people I meet on the way and the people I work with is even more important and fulfilling; so here's a bit about me! I am currently based in Norhtwest Arkansas and travel for work when the opportunity arises. I'm a wife + momma, and my whole world revolves around my family and my faith. I played volleyball and competed in track and field in college while studying photography!
Alongside my art courses, I took many classes in the intercultural studies curriculum where I didn't just learn facts and information, I learned how to learn about others. It's something I've grown more passionate about over the past couple years, and I hope to put the skills to good use by traveling and documenting the stories of people close to home as well as around the world.
I have been playing around with cameras since I was six, always taking pictures of the outdoors. I grew up bringing a camera along when we'd go camping with my grandparents, who were major influences of my love for adventure, travel, and film photography. I knew by the time I'd completed my first year in middle school journalism that I wanted to study photography in college and pursue a career in this field, and I haven't looked back since.
I would love to connect with you to hear more about any ideas you might have, and I am confident we can make your visions come to life! Head to the contact page so we can work something out!
